If you know me, you know that I’m crazy about greeny-blue colours. It’s that colour that’s almost Tiffany Blue but with a hint of green. Surfing the polish blogs I came across this Chanel colour and fell in love!
Unfortunately it’s a summer 2010 collection colour and no longer available. But the blogs (they never let me down) had various dupes for this colour that I went to buy instead. China Glaze’s For Audrey is what I purchased and painted my nails with tonight.
The bottle isn’t as glamourous but it’s also about 5x less expensive than Chanel. I’m really happy with the way it applied (two coats) and the colour itself. If it lasts for a good few days with no chips I will be a new convert to China Glaze. I still want to try a Chanel polish but I’m waiting until I see another colour that I think will be worth $30.
I also bought Seche Vite which is supposed to be the bestest top coat. I’m hoping it might salvage some of my cheaper polishes that I love the colour but chip almost immediately. (I’m looking at you, L’Oreal!).
